Lorenzo Vecchia embodies the new generation of committed Italian chefs. Co-founder of the Bologna gastronomic projects Ahimè and Uno di questi giorni, he was born in Milan in 1992 and trained in some of Italy's most prestigious kitchens, alongside chefs such as Carlo Cracco, Antonia Klugmann, Martin Berasategui and Lorenzo Cogo.
His contemporary, plant-centred cuisine is deeply rooted in seasonality, local produce and sustainability. In 2018, he was named Young Ethical Chef by Care's, and in 2022, Ahimè received the Michelin Green Star for its commitment to responsible practices.
Through his two restaurants, Lorenzo offers a bold and sincere vision of modern Italian gastronomy, combining tradition, ethics and pleasure.
